He has extensive experience in software quality assurance, accounting, taxation and business consulting. Joel is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Tax Professionals. He attends Valleydale Baptist Church where he also teaches Sunday School.
Joel graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama. He served as Senator and Business Caucus Chairman in Sam Houston State University’s Student Government Association.
